For Refineries, Traders & Crude Marketers

Consistent On-Spec Crude Supply from Oleum Operations

We supply blended crude oil meeting agreed refinery specifications, metered through LACT units, with full custody transfer documentation. Here is how our facility is set up to serve downstream buyers.

Blending & Quality Process

How We Prepare Crude for Delivery

Every barrel that leaves our facility has gone through a documented receipt, segregation, blending, and verification process. This is not a passthrough operation — we actively manage quality from the point of purchase through the point of delivery.

01

Incoming Crude Receipt & Sampling

All crude received at our facility is sampled and tested upon arrival — API gravity, BS&W, sulfur, and heavy metal screening. Incoming volumes are recorded against the run ticket and allocated to specific inventory tanks. This documentation is the starting point for every blending decision.

02

Segregation by Quality Tier

Crudes are segregated by gravity and quality tier within our above-ground tank inventory. This allows us to manage blending ratios precisely, drawing from specific tanks to achieve target specifications rather than blending blind from a commingled pool.

03

Blending to Target Specification

Blended streams are constructed to meet buyer-specified API gravity and sulfur content targets. We work with common refinery specifications and can adjust blend ratios to accommodate specific requirements. Blended crude is produced in advance of delivery commitments, not after.

04

Pre-Delivery Quality Verification

Before any delivery, a composite sample of the blended stream is tested for API, BS&W, and sulfur to confirm specification compliance. If a blend falls outside of agreed parameters, it is adjusted before loading. Buyers receive a certificate of analysis with each delivery.

05

LACT-Metered Custody Transfer

All outbound deliveries are metered through our Lease Automatic Custody Transfer (LACT) units. LACT meters provide accurate net volume measurement, composite sampling, and automatic BS&W monitoring. Custody transfer documentation is provided with every load.

Storage, Infrastructure & Throughput

18,000 bbl

Above-Ground Storage

Our facility holds 18,000 barrels of above-ground steel tank storage. This inventory buffer allows us to manage blending schedules, accommodate variable inbound supply, and meet consistent delivery commitments to buyers without disruption.

LACT Units

Custody Transfer Metering

Lease Automatic Custody Transfer units provide net volume measurement, continuous BS&W monitoring, and composite sampling on all outbound deliveries. Every load comes with full LACT-generated documentation for custody reconciliation.

In-House

Truck Load & Unload

We operate our own trucks for crude receipt from lease tank batteries and delivery to pipeline injection points or refinery truck unloading facilities. In-house logistics removes dependence on third-party scheduling and improves delivery reliability.
